Key research groups
Led by Chief Scientific Officer Jacques Turgeon, BPharm, PhD and R&D COO Veronique Michaud, BPharm, PhD, the R&D Pillar is broken into four key areas. Each area is studied by a variety of subject matter experts—from clinical pharmacists to research analysts to software engineers.
Precision Pharmacotherapy Research and Development Institute
Responsible for maintaining, updating, and developing new products for medication risk mitigation and stratification, the Precision Pharmacotherapy Research and Development Institute research is related to topics like pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and computational modeling. The staff also conducts personalized MedWise Safety Reviews.
Office of Translational Research and Residency Programs
Responsible for applied research and development related to clinical practice and utility, the Office of Translational Research and Residency Programs offers training and education for students, postgraduates, and new pharmacists. The staff has also worked to establish standardized protocols for prospective and retrospective studies.
Office of Healthcare Analytics
The Office of Healthcare Analytics helps to transform data into meaningful insights using data aggregation and analysis. The department is tasked with demonstrating the economic, clinical, and humanistic benefits of the TRHC suite of products and services.
Drug Information Resource Center
The Drug Information Resource Center is a specialized service designed to provide fast, up-to-date, and evidence-based drug information to TRHC pharmacists and technicians for improved efficiency and productivity. This service offers specialized support and education for our staff, through internal clinical inquiries in regular newsletters that then help pharmacies to better serve their patients.
