TRHC CIO Receives 2016 Executive Management Award

Moorestown, NJ, March 10, 2016 – Joseph J. Filippoli, Chief Information Officer of Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc., was honored by SmartCEO Magazine with the 2016 Executive Management Award at a gala celebration on  March 8, 2016. The ceremony was held at the Ballroom of the Ben in Philadelphia, PA.

According to the official announcement, the award recognizes “the leadership and accomplishments of Philadelphia’s management all-stars. Winners are recognized for their creative management vision, leadership philosophy, innovative strategy and undeniable work ethic.”

Mr. Filippoli will be recognized in the March/April issue of SmartCEO Magazine and on the SmartCEO website.

Joseph J. Filippoli, a 30-year veteran of the information technology industry with a particular focus in healthcare, joined Tabula Rasa HealthCare (TRHC) in 2012. His expertise includes leading technology operations, application development, informatics and technology innovation within high growth start-ups.

Filippoli formerly served as Director of Information Management, leading the Enterprise Analytics and Reporting Department in Information Services, at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Prior to CHOP, Mr. Filippoli served as Senior Vice President & Chief Technical Officer of ExcelleRx, Inc. (ExcelleRx) where he directed the information technology enterprise. At ExcelleRx and other nationally-recognized companies, Filippoli created and developed comprehensive enterprise technology while managing technology departments from inception through sustained expansion and rapid transition.

He also served in technology management at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, as well as Director of Management Information Systems and Chief Technology Architect at Delaware Park Casino in the early 90s.

Mr. Filippoli served in the United States Navy, completing 6 years of active service. He received his Master in Business Administration from Drexel University in 2005.
