In particular, he sheds light on anticholinergics and benzodiazepines. He also covers proton pump inhibitors and addresses risk outside of dementia, including risk of osteoporosis.

And as Dr. Alesiani points out in the article, “medications can have side effects, and those side effects bring on more medications to treat the side effects—it’s just a growing cascade of medication.”
