Mr. Heath is responsible for the performance of corporate departments under the Office of the CAO, including Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, the TRHC Corporate University, the Office of Corporate Culture, and Corporate Services.

Mr. Heath’s key responsibilities include providing instructional leadership to department managers, working to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan, and reviewing administrative policy. He has led initiatives to launch a number of cloud-based applications, creating efficiencies and automation in policy management and Human Capital Management. He led the initiative to revise and update the digital workplace and automate the company’s policies and procedures prior to going public.

As CAO, Phillip serves as adviser to the CEO, providing strategic oversight, and ensuring alignment of organizational priorities.  He leads special projects for the company, partnering with the executive team on the execution of critical business functions and shared services across the organization.

Prior to joining TRHC in 2015, Phillip served as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at InnovAge, a provider of long-term care services and its Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).  He brings nearly 30 years of experience with various local, regional, and national healthcare organizations in the areas of sales, marketing, business development, government affairs and operations. He has extensive experience in the hospice, senior housing, long-term care, and healthcare technology arenas.

Mr. Heath also has been involved in corporate community affairs, social responsibility, and inclusion and diversity initiatives, and as a community volunteer throughout his career. He has served not-for-profit community organizations as Trustee & Board Chair (Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, Member, Board Secretary & Governance Chair); Alzheimer’s Association, Colorado Chapter; and Advisory Board-Transformational Leadership in Disruptive Times Online Certification at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.

He holds a B.A. from Morehouse College and an M.S. in Health Services Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. He holds a Healthcare Leadership certificate from Cornell University and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
