Michael S. Awadalla is a licensed pharmacist with extensive clinical and managerial experience. Dr. Awadalla joined Tabula Rasa HealthCare (TRHC) in 2011 as a clinical pharmacist for CareKinesis after serving as a pharmacy manager with one of the nation’s largest grocery retailers. He subsequently served as a Director of Clinical Pharmacy Operations for CareKinesis where he implemented short and long-term strategic plans focused on medication safety and compliance.

In 2016, Dr. Awadalla was a core stakeholder in the design and launch of TRHC’s Enhanced Medication Therapy Management (EMTM) and Pharmacovigilance programs. These programs, leveraging clinical and technological innovations, connect board-certified pharmacists to at-risk populations with a focus on medication safety and improving outcomes.

In 2019, Dr. Awadalla’s role expanded to include responsibility for TRHC’s PACE Medication Safety and Pharmacy Services. Inclusive of both principal roles, Dr. Awadalla directly oversees day-to-day operations of two key contact centers and more than 100 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. In this capacity, Dr. Awadalla has driven advances in process improvement, creation of advanced clinical KPIs, and adoption of cutting-edge technology platforms.

Dr. Awadalla earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is board-certified in geriatrics.
