Dr. Michael S. Awadalla is a licensed pharmacist with extensive clinical and managerial experience. Dr. Awadalla joined Tabula Rasa HealthCare (TRHC) in 2011 as a clinical pharmacist for CareKinesis after serving as a pharmacy manager with one of the nation’s largest grocery retailers. He subsequently served as a Director of Clinical Pharmacy Operations for CareKinesis, where he implemented strategic plans focused on medication safety and compliance. Dr. Awadalla was a core stakeholder in the 2016 design and launch of TRHC’s Enhanced Medication Therapy Management (EMTM) and Pharmacovigilance programs. His role expanded in 2019 to include responsibility for TRHC’s PACE Medication Safety and Pharmacy Services. Inclusive of both roles, Dr. Awadalla oversaw daily operations of two key contact centers and more than 100 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. In 2021, Dr. Awadalla was named Executive Vice President of TRHC’s Office of Applied Pharmacotherapy, which focuses on the clinical application of the company’s medication decision support tools, including medication safety reviews. He collaborates with teams across TRHC to establish achievement benchmarks, ensure effectiveness of data collection and workflows, and support sustained clinical excellence.

Dr. Awadalla earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is board-certified in geriatrics.
