Meghan Arwood, PharmD, MS, BCPS is a clinical research scientist at the Precision Pharmacotherapy Research & Development Institute, where she has a role maintaining and updating TRHC’s proprietary clinical decision support system and precepting PGY2 residents in clinical pharmacogenomics.
Dr. Arwood received her BS and PharmD degrees from the University of Florida (UF) (2010; 2013) and completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency in Melbourne, Florida (2014). Following residency, she started a fellowship in translational pharmacogenomics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and completed it at UF (2016). Dr. Arwood received a Presidential Trainee Award from ASCPT (2017) and her MS degree in Clinical and Translational Science from UIC (2018). After fellowship, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UF College of Pharmacy for three years. In this role, she became an expert in the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics and directed a pharmacogenetics consult clinic within internal medicine.
