Malavika Deodhar, BPharm, PhD is a clinical research scientist at the TRHC Pharmacotherapy and Precision Pharmacotherapy Research & Development Institute. Dr. Deodhar joined the PPRDI in September 2019. She currently works on the pharmacy team to maintain and update TRHC’s proprietary CDSS software. Her team also develops new modalities with the software team to evolve the software. Dr. Deodhar received her PhD in Pharmacology and Neuroscience from Creighton University in 2019. She has worked on mouse models for drug resistant epilepsy and has an extensive background in behavioral and molecular research. Before that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Bombay College of Pharmacy in 2014. She is currently a member of many clinical pharmacy associations and serves as a taskforce member for the policy and payments for pharmacogenomic testing at GTMRx. Along with academic research experience, she has worked with clinical trial development, quality control and assurance, and 505(b)(2) applications in the past. Dr. Deodhar loves to paint, garden, and is a huge fan of Bollywood dance.
