Hubert Jin (Huaichuan Jin, 金怀川) is a data scientist at TRHC. Mr. Jin has over 20 years of experience in the software and IT industry, specialized in data processing, statistical analysis, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, nature language processing, and workflow project management, as well as innovative technologies.
Mr. Jin has authored and co-authored 24 papers and 14 ISBN publications. He is also the co-inventor of two U.S. patents. At BBN Technologies, Mr. Jin developed the statistical model-based topic tracking systems that were ranked first in both the 1998 and 1999 DARPA TDT evaluations administrated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In 1996, Mr. Jin developed the BBN speech recognition system for TV and broadcast news, which was ranked the 3rd in the annual DARPA Hub4 evaluation.
Mr. Jin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Zhejiang University, a Master’s degree in statistics from the University of Washington (Seattle) and a Master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
