Chandni Bardolia, PharmD, BCGP, is the Drug Information Specialist at TRHC. As the Drug Information Specialist, Dr. Bardolia is committed to providing up-to-date, evidence-based responses to clinical inquiries received from pharmacists and other healthcare practitioners. This service that Dr. Bardolia spearheads, under the guidance of Dr. Nishita Amin, aims to support the company’s research, education, and clinical initiatives. Among several other responsibilities, Dr. Bardolia produces the monthly Drug Information Resource Center (DIRC) newsletter, entitled “The Clinical Inquirer,” which is electronically distributed across the company. The Clinical Inquirer delivers updates about the MedWise™ platform, highlights clinical inquiries, and provides new drug updates.

Dr. Bardolia received her PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She went on to pursue a career in retail pharmacy and held a role in the PBM realm. In the hopes of holding a more clinical and fulfilling role, Dr. Bardolia completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at TRHC. Dr. Bardolia served as an adjunct professor at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, leading small group recitation for a course entitled “Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Individualized Drug Dosing.” Upon completion of the program, Dr. Bardolia assumed the role of Drug Information Specialist and operates TRHC’s Drug Information Resource Center.

Since being in the role, Dr. Bardolia has responded to over 70 DI inquiries, produced eight newsletters, created several helpful quick fact guides, and spearheaded a COVID-19 medication guide. She takes an active role in assisting PGY-1 residents with their research projects and will be serving a PGY-2 preceptor. Dr. Bardolia has also co-authored two publications.

Dr. Bardolia’s areas of interest include geriatric medicine, deprescribing/optimizing medication regimens, pharmacist-led clinical services, and personalized medicine.
