Research Pharmacist

Adriana Matos, PharmD, BCGP is a Research Pharmacist at TRHC and is part of the Applied Precision Pharmacotherapy Institute under the Research & Development Institute. Dr. Matos collaborates with key stakeholders in order to perform various research projects and company initiatives. In addition, Dr. Matos provides pharmacogenomics (PGx) consultation services to healthcare providers and provides education to pharmacy students, residents, and other healthcare professionals. Dr. Matos is also the preceptor for the Clinical Pharmacology & PGx learning experience for PGY1 Pharmacy Residents and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiential students.

Dr. Adriana Matos received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology from Kean University. Dr. Matos pursued additional training and completed a Postgraduate Year-1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Practice Residency in Geriatric Personalized Medicine with CareKinesis. During her residency, she gained invaluable experience working with the Enhanced Medication Therapy Management (EMTM) department, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) call center, Total Quality Management department and Client Development Team. She also provided onsite clinical and educational services to several PACE clients and participants. Dr. Matos also previously served as Adjunct Professor, University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, PA. Presently, as a Research Pharmacist for Tabula Rasa HealthCare’s Applied Precision Pharmacotherapy Institute, Dr. Matos collaborates with key stakeholders in order to perform various research projects and company initiatives. In addition, Dr. Matos provides pharmacogenomic (PGx) consultation services to healthcare providers and provides education to pharmacy students, residents and other healthcare professionals. Dr. Matos is also the preceptor for the Clinical Pharmacology & PGx learning experience for PGY1 and PGY2 Pharmacy Residents and pharmacy students.
