Tabula Rasa HealthCare Names Chief Strategy Officer Brian J. Litten to Lead Market Development for Healthcare Services Company

Moorestown, N.J., September 10, 2014—Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc. Chairman and CEO, Calvin H. Knowlton, BScPharm, MDiv, PhD  announced today the appointment of Brian J. Litten as its first Chief Strategy Officer.  Tabula Rasa HealthCare’s companies offer medication risk mitigation and decision support, as well as revenue stabilization, for at-risk health plans, health systems, hospitals, skilled rehabilitation, long-term care, and other risk-bearing healthcare entities.

In this new role, Litten will be responsible for inducing a demand for the technology and services of Tabula Rasa HealthCare companies,  developing go-to-market strategies, including the creation of channel partners and engaging appropriate stakeholders in the planning, evaluation and implementation phases of programs.

Litten has worked in healthcare for more than 20 years, much of that time serving in strategic leadership roles with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and AmeriHealth New Jersey,  advising CEOs on growth strategy and market opportunities.  He also served as the Chief Executive Officer of an evidence-based medical oncology company that recently was sold to Cigna Insurance.

Litten was on the Board and the Executive Committee of the Public Affairs Council in Washington, D.C., a Trustee of the Coriell Institute for Medical Research and a Senior Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University Medical College’s School of Population Health.  He has a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Economics and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University.
