Senior Vice President, Capstone Business Success

Capstone Performance Systems, a subsidiary of Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc, is looking for an SVP to promote client and company success by providing direction and execution of strategic initiatives for new business development both in PACE and other markets.   The SVP will provide leadership in related operational activities and represents Capstone and Tabula Rasa Healthcare’s services in value-based healthcare settings and identifies and asks upon opportunities for market expansion.

Primary Functions:

  • Develops and oversees provider certification programs for value-based providers including:
    • Risk Adjustment and Clinical Documentation Excellence
    • Population Health Competence
  • Develops and establishes web-based and remotely administered Population Health Services to cover the following areas:
    • Chronic Care Management
    • Transitional Care Management
    • CAHPS/Stars Improvement
    • Utilization management
  • Drives new business development for Risk Adjustment, Clinical Documentation Excellence and Population Health for the following segments:
    • For PACE, assists in client portal development and encounter data management.
    • Primary Care Physician Groups
      • Accountable Care Organizations
      • Independence at Home and other Home-based Primary Care organizations
      • Community Health Centers/FQHCs evolving into value-based care models
    • Medicare Advantage Organizations
    • Commercial Plans
  • Builds and executes a business development plan for Capstone. Performs business development activities, strategic partnership development and client success support. Plans and conducts in person and virtual meetings with clients, potential clients and other partners-represents Capstone with professionalism and a passion for the TRHC mission and vision. Devises and manages a strategy to achieve optimum growth while maintaining strength in existing relationships.
    • Assures a high level of satisfaction for clients by being a escalated contact for operational and quality issues and feedback.
    • Documents encounters in CRM software.
    • Reports on activities and initiatives to senior leadership.
  • Travels as needed for business meetings, conferences and trades shows and corporate strategy or team meetings.
  • Stays abreast of relevant best practices and market entities, needs and trends. Grows and maintains expertise in the offerings and potential offerings of Capstone as well as relevant internal and external conditions and factors. Identifies opportunities and threats, and established effective responses.
  • Collaborates with internal TRHC partners:
    • Serves as a representative of Capstone in leadership meetings and as called upon for business related insight.
    • Partners with Marketing/Communications in developing collateral (including website) for new service and to participate in conferences and sponsorships.
    • Interacts with Finance for client billing and business development budget planning.
    • Collaborates with internal Information Technology leaders for development and implementation of software to support strategic initiatives.
    • Provides guidance as relevant to the Capstone team.
    • Assists in development of policies, procedures, processes and efforts to foster growth and enhance quality, in collaboration with appropriate departments or individuals.
    • Cross sells other TRHC lines as opportunities arise.
    • Works with other groups as relevant to above.
  • Authors case studies, white papers and other materials on topics relevant to above.
  • Performs others duties as assigned, requested or related to the above.

Secondary Functions:

  • Cross trains on systems and services to provide assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • MBA or MPH Preferred, Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Experience and training:
    • 8+ years’ PACE and or managed care leadership experience
    • Demonstrated experience in business development, planning and managing at strategic and operational levels
    • Executive level experience preferred
  • Specific Skills/Characteristics:
    • Strong analytical skills and good strategic judgment.
    • Ability to maximize resources to accomplish key metrics
    • Strong technical skills (to monitor and make suggestions about proprietary system development/enhancements)
    • Experience with MS Office and CRM systems
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including both strong listening and persuasive skills
    • Capable at public speaking and presentations to physicians and executives
    • Demonstrated leadership skills; able to identify meaningful goals and capture the imagination of others to achieve them; able to add value to discussions or projects that impact the company position in the industry; able to bring out the best thinking and attitudes;
    • High-energy with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
    • Comfortable working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
